At the beginning of the semester, history graduate student Liang Ludong loses a game of truth or dare and is challenged to send an outrageously suggestive message to a male student. Her jealous roommate takes matters into her own hands and sends it to Qi Tingheng, a younger student and one of the university's most talked-about figures. What begins as a secret relationship built largely on physical attraction slowly becomes something neither of them is willing to name. As Liang Ludong struggles with grief and the shadow of her family upbringing, their growing intimacy forces both of them to confront what they actually want. Their relationship is eventually torn apart, but years later they meet again—and the unresolved feelings between them prove impossible to ignore. The drama is adapted from Lü Ganlan's novel of the same name.
